20 Years – And, Yes…We’re Still Here!

CPHC is doing our own version of We’re Still Here. 20 years and we’re still here! Thanks to our founders and members who have kept our party with a purpose alive for so long! The club will celebrate this special milestone at Big Owl Tiki Bar on Saturday, May 6. Look for more details soon but mark your calendars NOW!!

Because we are good Parrot Heads we will start the day with purpose and do a Highway Cleanup before we head to Big Owl for the party. There will be a Silent Auction to help raise funds to support our many charities. Please let us know if you have an item or a service that you can donate to the Silent Auction. Email Kathy Jones at president@chesapeakephc.org by April 8.

The Board has planned a lot of great events for this year and we look forward to celebrating 20 years with you!!

We welcome and want your your help and input! Please join us at our next CPHC Board meeting at 6pm on Wednesday, March 8. The meeting will be held at Frisco’s Tap House in Gambrills. They have great Wednesday night Happy Hour pricing all night!

We’re Still Here

It’s 2017 and Yes….WE’RE STILL HERE…Are You?

We are planning another fun year of parrot head fellowship, camaraderie, and fun! We hope you will join us!

You were a member in 2017, you say? That’s great but “were” is right because it’s time to renew! We sure hope you do!

You already sent your money this year? That’s great! We are so happy you are still here too!

New here and on the fence about membership? Visit our membership page and take our little test. Don’t worry! It’s a fun and not really a test, but it will help confirm that the Parrot Head life is for you and that you are a perfect fit for our Club!

The Chesapeake Parrot Head Club (CPHC) and its parent organization, Parrot Heads in Paradise, Inc. (PHIP), are non-profit organizations whose purposes are to assist in community and environmental concerns and provide a variety of social activities for people with similar interests. If you decide to join, you’ll be a member of one of the best Parrot Head Clubs in the more than 160-club network. We are dedicated to performing charitable and community service activities while having a good time.

The CPHC offers a wide-range of activities and types of memberships to fit your needs. A single membership is $20/year and a family membership is $30/year . We also have business memberships for businesses that cater to Parrot Heads.

To join, just go http://www.chesapeakephc.org/membership/dues/, and pay online by Paypal, or you can download  the CPHC Membership Application, print out a copy of the form, fill out the form, and send it along with your check, made payable to CPHC, to the address noted below. When the membership committee receives your application, we’ll add you to the club’s e-mail list where you’ll receive regular Club updates with news and information about Jimmy Buffett, his concert tours, members of the Coral Reefers, CPHC activities, and area and national Parrot Head events.

If you want CPHC membership cards, please include a SASE (self-addressed, stamped envelope) with your CPHC Membership Application and send to:

  • Generic Visa/Mastercard, Home Depot, Lowes, Shop Rite gift cards or cash for gift cards for New Jersey parrot head members STILL affected by Hurricane Sandy The Coastal NJ PHC president said the following about gift cards “Kathy, yes there is still a need, and for another couple months @ least. that would be great! They would still be a help….one is still on clean out, way behind others due to location, and limited accessibility. One moves back in April 1st and I’m sure will still need some things, and two more houses are still refurbishing a little at time..due to financial constraints…so yes, please share if you can, and we are probably tapped out for now.”
  • newspapers, food, blankets, etc. for SPCA.
  • money for 50/50 raffle tickets.

Specials will be available to our club members and guests, and I’ll let you know what those are as soon as it’s all confirmed. Hope to see you there!
